If you're the guy with the "lethal green eyes: (lethal is a great word here): 11
Here's the thing. Why the despairity in the numbers? Some of the images you use from a poetic standpoint are a little overused (i.e., stars to my eyes, precious moments, hold me close, etc). Why this can be a problem for a poem is they are like using shorthand or cliff notes to describe your emotions. You are losing control in your reader's mind of the image you are trying to create.
Now, I would be hypocritical if I said I never used cliches in my poems--I do, and I need to get rid of them also.
That said, you do some really wonderful things in this poem:
Its sort of like falling and flying at once
like coming together and breaking apart
Those two lines were awesome. Here's why, a weak poem would have just stopped at "thats impossible to describe" which would have been a real cop out.
I think if you revised the word choice a bit like I said this could easily solidify into a really solid poem--I still gave it a 7 on its own, so you have a good starting point.
Ok that said, any guy, and I mean any guy (except the most clueless fool in the world) would be overwhelmed by what you've written. I think on a personal level you get an 11 with this.
